I would love to give a presentation on Mindfulness to your group or organization either on Zoom or in person. I have given presentations to schools (both for parents and kids), medical practices, rotary, hospice, senior centers, community centers, yoga/wellness studios, sports teams, youth groups, businesses and country clubs. References are available upon request.
In this presentation, which can be a half hour to a half day (the longer the presentation, the more skills I can offer), the attendee will learn the basics of Mindfulness and the tools they need to start making it part of their daily life right away. See below for more information.
Presentation Title- Mindfulness 101: An Introduction to Mindfulness Practice
In this presentation, students will learn: what Mindfulness is, why we need it now more than ever, the research on the benefits of a Mindfulness practice, how to actually meditate and how to make your daily life more Mindful. There are a lot of articles out there these days espousing the benefits of Mindfulness, but not many of them give practical tools that the reader can start implementing. In fact they often leave the reader with an awareness that it’s something they probably need, but no idea on how to practically do it. Mindfulness is something that can really only be understood through regular practice, so spending some time with an experienced teacher actually learning how to practice Mindfulness is invaluable.
